Joan Harrington Art Scholarship

A passionate artist and art teacher, Joan Harrington provided inspiration for hundreds of students over more than 20 years of teaching art at Germantown Academy. Joan created the revolutionary Art Quest program in 1995. It was with great sadness that the GA community lost Joan to cancer in May of 2006.

Though Joan is no longer with us, Art Quest continues to thrive and expose children to Joan’s passion—art. A one-week scholarship is being offered in Joan’s name. The recipient of the scholarship may choose from any of the four weeks of Art Quest Adventure offered.
