BOYS AND GIRLS SOCCER JR.

In the mornings coaches will provide skill instruction to teach positional responsibilities for offense and defense, proper form for dribbling, shooting and passing with both feet, as well as introducing small sided games and contests to promote competition. Afternoons will be comprised of other team games such as handball, wallball, kickball, and soccer shooting competitions, to promote team play and individual development. *Sneakers/indoor shoes are required.

BOYS AND GIRLS SOCCER SR.

Mornings will include drills to promote better touch and responsibility of the ball. Focus will be on ball touches, ball control, trapping, use of both feet in all drills, proper form for dribbling, shooting and passing with both feet, as well as introducing more advanced skills and plays. The afternoon will comprise of other soccer related games and shooting competitions, to promote team play and individual development.

GOALKEEPERS AND STRIKERS

This coed Goalkeepers and Strikers Camp focuses on the drills and skills needed to take great shots and make great saves.

This camp is devoted to enhancing the technical proficiency, tactical awareness, positioning, and physical ability of Goalkeepers, while Strikers learn goal-keeping techniques and tendencies to become better shooters.

Required equipment for all summer soccer players:

  • Cleats (no metal spikes) and sneakers – campers must have sneakers for indoor/gym activities and to walk in the school.
  • Shin Guards
  • Water Bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • A bag to carry it all
  • At camp you may rent a soccer ball or bring your own

Hint: If you need to buy new cleats, buy them now so they can be broken in by the first day of camp!
