Upper School Debate Team Shines at States
The Upper School debate team recently participated in the Pennsylvania High School Speech League State Tournament at Bloomsburg University. The tournament took place on March 15 and March 16. A number of GA student debaters made it through four fiercely competitive preliminary rounds to compete on the second day. They were Charlotte Rapp '19, Christina Nguyen '21, Helen Wu '21, and Priya Anand '21. Charlotte ended the day ranked in the top 10 Impromptu Speakers in Pennsylvania, and Helen and Priya ended the tournament in the top five Public Forum debate teams in the state. Well done, Patriots!
