Germantown Academy is proud to announce that six members of the Class of 2023 have been named National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists! Melinda Amorosi '23, Yash Chadda '23, Adhiraj Gadre '23, Jacob Sasson '23, Sam Wang '23, and Luke Weidemoyer '23 were among the highest scoring entrants in the state and will now move on to the finalist round in hopes of winning a Merit Scholarship Award.

Each year, a total of about 50,000 participants receive recognition in the National Merit Scholarship Program, with over 16,000 of the 50,000 high scorers qualifying as Semifinalists. To enter the competition, a high school student must take the PSAT/NMSQT at a local high school or approved location in the specified year of high school and meet National Merit Scholarship Corporation's published program participation requirements.
