The College Counseling Office partnered with Alumni Relations to once again host the “Life After GA” alumni panel discussions. While 9th Graders attended a four-alumni panel discussion themed “Making the Most of Your Time at GA,” each 10th-12th Grader attended two panels with different career topics, including: Healthcare; Business Management & Finance; Liberal Arts Launch Pad; Visual Arts; Media, Video/Film, Communications; and STEM.
“It was a great experience both reflecting on my path and providing guidance to aspiring students and the next generation of leaders,” shared Daelyn Nwaobasi ’21, an student at Villanova University.
Thank you to the faculty and staff who moderated each panel and the 23 alumni who gave back to the school through their time, perspectives and advice to students – the perfect illustration of how the GA community takes care of each other. As Lower Merion High School Latin teacher, Brooke Fireman’15, reflected, “In Latin, alma mater translates to “nourishing mother”; revisiting campus reminded how much of a nourishing mother Germantown Academy was for me.”
We look forward to hosting this informative event again next year!
