Germantown Academy Senior Jazziah Manning Receives American Heritage Scholarship

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Jazziah Manning ’25 was recently named one of 30 high school seniors to receive a $1,000 scholarship from American Heritage Credit Union, recognizing her academic accomplishments, community and school involvement, and commitment to her future goals.

The recipients of the 2025 American Heritage Scholarship were selected by the organization’s Scholarship Committee based on scholarly merits, a letter of recommendation, credit union eligibility, and a personal essay detailing their dedication to achieving their goals and growing professionally over the next five years.

Manning -- a GA Patriot Scholar -- and her fellow honorees were invited to a special Scholarship Banquet hosted at American Heritage’s Main Campus to celebrate their achievements. The annual scholarship program honors Cecilia B. Grady, Chairperson Emerita of American Heritage, who served on the credit union’s Board of Directors for over 40 years and is remembered for her commitment to financial literacy, education, and community outreach.

“At American Heritage, we're proud to support the next generation of community leaders by helping ease the financial pressures associated with rising higher education costs,” said Bruce K. Foulke, President & CEO of American Heritage. “Today’s students are graduating with more debt than any previous generation, which is why we are committed to offering our Scholarship Program. These funds are designed to be flexible, allowing students to use them in the way that best supports their academic and career goals. Congratulations to this year’s Cecilia B. Grady Scholarship recipients — we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!”
