Germantown Academy Facilities Receiving Upgrades
The GA Field House, originally built in 1987, is receiving an interior facelift this summer! The ceiling, walls, and steel structure will be freshly painted, modern acoustic panels will be installed, a Mondo Advance NG floor will replace the existing rubber floor, and a new curtain will be hung at mid-court with electric controls for the curtain and the new basketball backboards.
At 21,000 square feet, the air-conditioned Field House, is GA’s largest indoor athletic and event space. In addition, a modern and accessible entrance is being built to connect and integrate the Field House within the new Health and Wellness Center. The Field House renovation is expected to be complete in early September.
