“These students should be proud of the hard work and dedication that they exhibited in the math program over their careers in the Upper School,” said Upper School Math Department Head Jason Straub 1760. “This is the largest group we’ve ever inducted into Mu Alpha Theta from a graduating class, and we can’t wait to see all that they will accomplish in the years ahead.”

To be eligible for Mu Alpha Theta, students must be seniors, must meet grade requirements for their honors level mathematics courses as well as an overall GPA requirement, and may not have earned any honors strikes within 12 months of induction. It is an honor to be selected for membership in this organization, which has over 2,100 chapters across the United States and in many foreign countries.
