Class of 2027 Day Off Campus

The 8th Grade Day Off Campus event returned to GA this fall with resounding applause by the Class of 2027. Students spent a day observing what it's like to work in a career of their choice.

"It was exciting to bring this program back this year," said Dr. Lauren Feinschil, Co-Director of the program. "The object of the day is for students to gain a better idea of what professional in a particular career do each day and determine if they might want to follow that career path in the future."

Some of the student projects included:

Piper L. '27 shadowed the Head Girls Soccer Coach at Penn

Justin H. '27 spent the day at Varenhorst Architects

I really enjoyed getting to know them and practicing with them. I got to go over film for the next game which I also enjoyed. Overall, I loved the experience, and I am thankful that I was able to do it." - Thatcher B. '27

"I enjoyed a day off campus where I shadowed a real estate agent. I toured a few houses and spent time in the office with her while I browsed threw a book of old houses and just got the feel of what it was like to be a real estate agent." - Gigi M. '27
