7th Grade Career Day A Huge Success

The Class of 2024 had the wonderful opportunity to hear from a number of professionals during 7th Grade Career Day on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

“Career day was started five years ago as an initiative of the Student Government Association,” said Dion Lehman, who is the 7th Grade Head Advisor and helped coordinate the morning program along with Student Government Association faculty advisors Heather Galante and Jay Wright. “It is a fun experience and helps students gain a better understanding of what careers to consider in eighth grade as they participate in Day Off Campus, which is an opportunity for eighth graders to spend a day shadowing someone in a professional field that is interesting to them.”
