16 GA Students Earn First Place Awards at PJAS State Fair

In May, a group of Germantown Academy Science research students participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Sciences (PJAS) State Fair. Of the 18 students who competed, 16 earned first place awards, and GA senior Sarah Rojas '21 earned a perfect score.

"Please congratulate all of the science research students for their hard work this year," said Upper School Science Department Chair James Anderson. "Each of them spent the school year diligently collecting data, preparing and recording presentations, and writing a research paper to complete their science research projects for the PJAS, Montgomery County Science Research Competition, and Delaware Valley Science Fair. Mrs. Kesten also deserves recognition for her tireless support of this program and each of her students."
