The Lower School Green Ambassadors club meets monthly. Their projects range from planting to harvesting, from composting to wintering over the garden. Below, students harvest parsley, oregano, thyme, and other herbs from the Sally Wolf garden for Meriwether-Godsey to use in preparing food for our cafeteria.
Later in the fall, the Green Ambassadors planted tulip and daffodil bulbs in the Charley Muir garden. When the plants bloom in the spring, the students will make cut floral arrangements for main public spaces throughout the campus.
