STATE COLLEGE -- Six student-athletes representing Germantown Academy's winter track team made the trip to Penn State University on March 2 for the Pennsylvania Track & Field Coaches Association State Championships. Evan Badami '26, Robby Bright '25, Jet Dickerson '26, Adrian Diem '25, Layla Gentile '26, and Nieve Keitel '27 all competed, representing the top 24 in their respective events.
Badami placed sixth in the boys’ 400-meter race, clocking a time of 48.83 seconds and setting a new school record. Diem also secured a sixth-place finish in the boys’ pole vault, clearing 14 feet, 6 inches.
Gentile finished seventh in the girls’ shot put with a throw of 39 feet, 6.5 inches. Keitel took ninth in the girls’ one-mile run, crossing the finish line in 5:06.19.
Dickerson ran 8.60 in the Boys 60m Hurdles Prelims, but was unable to advance to the finals. Bright did not record a height in the Boys Pole Vault.
