Swimming: 10 GA Swimmers Named to All-America List
FORT WASHINGTON, PA—Several Germantown Academy student-athletes were named to the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association's All-America lists for the 2019-2020 season. To earn a spot on these lists, a swimmer must be among the top 100 times in the country for an event. Emma Atkinson '20 was third overall in the 200-yard freestyle and eighth overall in the 100-yard backstroke. Henry Morrissey '22 also landed in the top 10 in the country in the 500-yard Freestyle (9th). The GA varsity boys and girls swim teams are led by Jeff Thompson, who is also the Director of the GA Aquatic Club (GAAC).
