Emma Atkinson '20 capped off her brilliant swimming career at GA by winning the 200 freestyle (1:45.77 *NAT) and the 100 backstroke (53.05 NAT) this past weekend at the Easterns Interscholastic Swimming & Diving Championship at Franklin & Marshall College. Incredibly, Atkinson also set the 100 freestyle pool (McGinness Pool), meet record, and GA record by leading off the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 49.71. She also set a new meet, pool, and GA record in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:47.71. On Sunday, Atkinson achieved her fifth Olympic Trials qualifying time standard in the 400-meter freestyle at the Qualifier Meet by clocking in at 4:15.81.

As a team, the Patriots finished sixth overall with 362.5 points.
