PHILADELPHIA – Germantown Academy’s track and field teams delivered outstanding performances at the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association State Championship, held at the Ott Center at the University of Pennsylvania. The event featured nearly three times the number of teams and athletes as previous years, making for a highly competitive meet.

Boys' Track and Field: Champions
The Germantown Academy boys team scored 95 points to edge out Hill School (86 points) for the PAISAA title. 

Girls' Track and Field: Runners-Up
The girls' team put on a strong showing, securing 97 points in an impressive second-place finish to Penn Charter in the state championship.

Record-Breaking Relays
GA’s relay teams set the tone for the meet, shattering school records.

• The boys' 4x200 team of Brady McDonough '26, Logan Burgey '28, Landon Amorim '28, and Evan Badami '26 set a school record with a time of 1:35.44.

• The boys' 4x400 team of Jet Dickerson '26, McDonough, Tyler Benson '27, and Badami established a new school record of 3:33.46.

• The girls' 4x400 team of Jocelyn German '28, Nieve Keitel '27, Zoey Clark '26, and Annabelle Steckel '28 set a school record of 4:19.12.

Boys' Results:

• Adrian Diem '25: 1st in the pole vault with a personal best of 15 feet, 2 inches.

• Jet Dickerson '26: 2nd in the 60m hurdles, 3rd in the 200m and 2nd in the long jump.

• Robby Bright '25: 2nd in the pole vault.

• Evan Badami '26: 2nd in the 400m.

• Sam Anyan '27: 4th in the long jump and 2nd in the triple jump.

• Walter Mulroy '26: 5th in the 3000m.

• Arjun Lee '27: 5th in the pole vault.

• Brady McDonough '26: 6th in the 60m.

• Tyler Benson '27: 6th in the 800m and 3rd in the mile.

• Arjun Samra '27: 7th in the high jump.

• Boys' 4x800 team of Xavier Tubio '27, Liam Connelly '27, Jamie Roche '28, and Callan O’Keefe '28 placed 6th.

Girls' Results:

• Nieve Keitel '27: 1st in the mile with a personal best of 5:12 and 1st in the 3000m.

• Lorelai Fortmann '25: 1st in the pole vault.

• Zoe Helman '25: 2nd in the pole vault.

• Layla Gentile '26: 2nd in the shot put.

• Ava Dalton '26: 3rd in the high jump.

• Jocelyn Germain '28: 8th in the 400m, 3rd in the long jump.

• Girls' 4x200 team of Zoey Clark '26, Shiyann Werts '28, Emma Shapiro '26 and Jocelyn Germain '28 placed 3rd.

• Girls' 4x800 team of Audrey Mennerich '28, Taryn DiFranco '25, Jazziah Manning '25, and Jocelyn Rizzi '27 placed 4th.

• Elli Wang '26: 4th in the pole vault and 4th in the triple jump.

• Zoey Clark '26: 5th in the 800m.
