FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — The American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA), in collaboration with USA Swimming, has recognized Germantown Academy Aquatic Club (GAAC) as one of the nation's premier age-group swimming programs, ranking the club 6th overall among medium-sized teams in the 2025 ASCA Top 50 Age Group Team rankings.

The annual rankings recognize excellence in swimmer development among athletes ages 10–14. This year, ASCA updated its methodology to highlight more programs and coaches who are producing outstanding age-group results. Teams were evaluated based on both the number of swimmers achieving USA Swimming's AAA and AAAA+ time standards and the percentage of athletes reaching those benchmarks relative to club size.

Competing against hundreds of clubs across the country, GAAC earned the No. 6 spot among medium-sized teams (76–175 swimmers), joining an elite group of programs recognized for developing young athletes at the highest level. The rankings are based on performance data provided by USA Swimming through its SWIMS database and weighted using analysis from USA Swimming's Data Science team.
