FORT WASHINGTON -- On Monday, Oct. 30, USA Swimming announced the full list of 2022-2023 Scholastic All-America recipients. The lists consist of 1,135 athletes in grades 9-12 who maintained a minimum 3.5 grade point average (GPA) and have swam an individual pool time equal to or faster than the 2022 Winter Junior National qualifying time in any individual event during the qualifying period of September 1, 2022 – August 31, 2023.
Germantown Academy is well represented on the list, with Karly Boles '25, Landon D'Ariano '24, Sarah Freeman '25, Emily Hamill '25, and Andy Zhou '24 earning recognition. The five student-athletes are a part of 514 girls and 621 boys.
The Patriots kick off their season on Dec. 5 when they host Lawrenceville School for a 4pm meet.
