Boys Cross Country: Patriots Finish 4th at Inter-Ac Championships, Led by Strong Performance from Benson

PHILADELPHIA -- Germantown Academy's boys cross country team competed in the Inter-Academic Athletic League Championships at Belmont Plateau on Oct. 15, finishing 4th overall with 102 points in the 5k race.

The Patriots will race next on Oct. 26, when they return to Belmont Plateau for the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association Championships.

Boys Varsity
Tyler Benson '27 crossed the finish line in 17:32.2 to grab 11th place overall while he was first for the Patriots. Walter Mulroy '26 finished 15th overall and second for GA in 17:58.1, while Evan Badami '26 was close behind in 16th place with a time of 17:59.4. Ethan Na '26 went 18:45.8 (29th) and Jeffrey Gould '27 ran 19:00.5 (31st) to round out the GA scorers. Arjun Sood '25 (34th - 19:50.4) and Liam Connelly '27 (37th - 20:24.2) also competed for the Patriots. 

Boys JV
Jack Dashine '27 ran 19:52.7 to finish 16th overall and first for GA in the JV Race, with John Henry Brusca '29 right behind him, taking 17th in 19:53.2. Xavier Tubio '27 crossed the finish line in 21:27.0 (31st), Oliver Pepper '26 in 21:51.40 (36th), and Stavi Sterious '26 in 21:56.50 (38th). Christian Jackson '26 went 22:14.2 to finish 39th.
