Alumni Update: Kiley Kergides '20 Collects Postseason Awards After Successful 2022 Campaign

The Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Women's Soccer Academic All-America teams on Tuesday afternoon and Kiley Kergides '20 was on the list, being selected as a Third Team Academic All-American in recognition of her efforts on the field and in the classroom at West Chester University.

A member of the women's soccer team, Kergides had a tremendous season that culminated in being named a United Soccer First Team All-American, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East All-Conference as well as earning Division II Conference Commissioners Association (DIICCA) and United Soccer All-Region honors.

Kergides, starred on the Golden Ram defense this season, helping hold opponents to less than one goal per game while also scoring three goals and assisting on three others for nine points on the year. Kergides excelled in some of the biggest games of the year for the Rams this season, scoring the game-winner in the Atlantic Region Championship over Kutztown, providing the assist on the tying goal in the National Quarterfinals vs Franklin Pierce, and providing an assist on the tying goal vs Western Washington in the National Championship game.

This is the fifth time that a West Chester women's soccer player has earned CSC Academic All-American honors. Kergides is the first Golden Ram to earn this honor since 2010.

At GA, Kergides was a four-year member of the girls soccer team, earning All-Inter-Ac League honors in 2018.
