Germantown Academy Students Earn Distinction as AP Scholars

Germantown Academy students once again stood out from the crowd in the College Board Advanced Placement Program in 2017-18. In total, three students were named National AP Scholar, 21 students were named AP Scholar with Distinction, 18 students were named AP Scholar with Honor, and 35 students were named AP Scholars.

The title of National AP Scholar is only given to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams. GA National AP Scholars, with an average score of 4.8, include:

A whopping 18 students were acknowledged as AP Scholar with Distinction, which is given to a student who receives an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. GA AP Scholars with Distinction, with an average score of 4.29, include:
