Admission Timeline 2017-18

September

  • Submission applications begins
  • Parents may begin to schedule testing
  • For your convenience, GA offers the ISEE for Middle and Upper School applicants in October, November & December

October

  • Interviews and visits begin
  • Monthly admission events begin
  • GA hosts the ISEE

November

  • Submission of Teacher Recommendations begins on November 1
  • GA hosts the ISEE

December

  • 9th – 11th grade files that are complete by December 15 will be considered in our first round of admission decisions in December
  • Kindergarten – 8th grade files that are complete by December 15 will be considered in our first round of admission decisions in January
  • Please remember - A complete admission file includes application, interview and classroom visit, teacher recommendation(s), transcript and standardized admission testing/GA admission assessment (dependent upon grade to which you are applying)
  • GA hosts the ISEE

January

  • PreK files that are complete by January 12 are guaranteed to be considered in our first round of admission decisions in January
  • Please remember - A complete admission file includes application, interview and classroom visit, teacher recommendation, and transcript if applicable, GA admission assessment
  • Decision notification begins
  • Financial aid paperwork due

  • Financial aid notification begins
  • Admission process continues on a rolling basis to fill available spaces
