Middle School Varsity Baseball

Coach Wetzel has coached baseball at the youth and middle school level since 2006 and has been the GA MS Varsity Head Coach for many of those years. A soccer player at Lehigh and currently active in adult leagues, Coach Wetzel brings a wealth of athletic experience to his coaching. He has been the US Boys Varsity Soccer Head Coach since 2018, leading the Patriots to the InterAc Championship in 2021.

Coach Dence served as GA’s Head Football Coach for 12 years, tallying the third most victories in school history and guiding the team to an Inter-Ac Championship in 2016. A coach for all seasons, Coach Dence has also coached volleyball, baseball, and golf. Prior to GA, Coach Dence coached at Georgetown, Yale, and Amherst, among others, and got his start at his alma mater, King’s College, where he was a four-year letterwinner in football.

Coach Samuel has been coaching at GA for seven years and has coached football and baseball for over 30 years and basketball for 25 years. Coach Samuel works with youth teams through college players and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
