Varsity Golf

Coaching Germantown Academy students is a true pleasure. Their hard work in the classroom carries over to what they do on the golf course. They are wonderful young people who are exciting to be around every afternoon.

    Varsity Golf Head Coach

    David Martin 1760 is in his fourth year of coaching varsity golf. He is an avid student of the game and places an emphasis on sportsmanship and having a thorough knowledge of the rules of golf. In addition to coaching golf he is the House Head for Kershaw and Chair of the Physical Education and Wellness Department for the Upper School. Throughout the season, GA's golf team plays on some of the finest courses in the Philadelphia area.

The Patriots play their home matches at Blue Stone Country Club, located 711 Boehms Church Road Blue Bell, PA 19422. The Championship Course is an 18-hole, par 71, 6455-yard championship caliber golf course. It features undulating greens, strategic bunkering, and water hazards that make the course fun yet challenging. Each hole offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels by providing four separate tee boxes.
