Winter Track: Four Student-Athletes Compete at PTFCA Indoor State Championships

STATE COLLEGE – After excellent showings at the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association Indoor Track Championship on Feb. 17, Evan Badami '26, Adrian Diem '25, Blake Brown '24, and Tripp Capers '24 were back in competition at PTFCA Indoor Track & Field State Championships on Feb. 25.

Just eight days after running 50.47 to break the previous school record of 50.73 in the 400m, set by Kyle Garland '18, Badami broke his own mark by going 49.53. The sophomore's time earned him an 11th place finish, and a new PR. Badami's time is the 100th fastest in the nation.

Diem also recorded a new PR, clearing 14' in the pole vault and taking 11th in the event. Brown jumped 20' 11" in the long jump to finish 13th, while Capers went 7.03 in the 60m to take 13th.
