Winter Track & Field: Germantown Academy Earns Top Marks at 2025 Bears High School Invitational
URSINUS -- Germantown Academy's Winter Track and Field team was back at it on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at the 2025 Bears High School Invitational held at Ursinus College. There was no team scoring in the event.

Highlights Include:
- Evan Badami '26 ran the Boys 400m Dash in 50.82 to take first.
- Tyler Benson '27 finished first in the Boys Mile 4:33.44, over three seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
- Adrian Diem '25 cleared 14' 6" in the Boys Pole Vault to secure first place. Robby Bright '25 was close behind in third, clearing 13'.
- Layla Gentile '26 claimed the top spot in the Girls Shot Put, throwing 37' 9.25".
- Jet Dickerson '26 finished second in the Boys 200m (23.14) and fourth in the Boys 55m Dash (6.71)
- Ethan Na '26 took second in the Boys 800 (2:10.27) while Andreas Szautner '26 finished fifth in 2:12.83.
- Zoey Clark '26 finished second in the Girls 400m (1:03.05) and Girls 800 (2:31.55). Annabelle Steckel '28 was third in the 800 in 2:31.93.
- Nieve Keitel '27 claimed second place in the Girls Mile in 5:19.27, and third in the Girls 3000m in 10:51.61.
- Walter Mulroy '26 took third in the Boys 3000m in 9:51.57.
- Samuel Anyan III '27 claimed third in the Boys Triple Jump by clearing 41' 5".
- Lorelai Fortmann '25 and Zoe Hellman '25 took third and fifth in the Girls Pole Vault, clearing 10' and 9' 6", respectively.
- Ava Dalton '26 cleared 4' 6" in the Girls High Jump for a fifth-place finish.
- Jocelyn Germain '28 took fifth in the Girls Long Jump with a 15' 11.75" leap.
- Brady McDonough '26 finished sixth in the Boys 55m Dash (6.75) and the 200m Dash (23.46).
- Brandon Truszkowski '26 recorded a 40' 8.75" throw in the Boys Shot Put to finish sixth.
- The GA Girls 4x800 team finished sixth with a time of 11:39.95
