FORT WASHINGTON -- There's no place like home for Germantown Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday against Parkland. The Patriots blew past the Agnes Irwin Owls 3-0 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Germantown Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 27-25, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Abby Traina '26, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted in her last seven matchups. Germantown Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7-1 record this season. 

After both having extra time off, Germantown Academy and Mt. St. Joseph Academy will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
