Track & Field: GA Boys Finish Fifth at Inter-Acs, Record Six Top-Three Finishes

NEWTOWN SQUARE — Germantown Academy’s boys track and field team placed fifth at the Inter-Academic League Championships, totaling 55 points and recording six top-three finishes.

The Haverford School captured the team title with 155 points, followed by Episcopal Academy (137) and Malvern Prep (130). Penn Charter (70) and Springside Chestnut Hill (6) rounded out the standings.

Highlights:

  • Stas Kraynak '26 won the high jump, clearing 6'4".
  • Jet Dickerson '26 delivered a standout day, finishing second in the 100m with a personal-best 10.8 (No. 22 in Pennsylvania). He also placed second in the 300m hurdles (41.23, season best) and the long jump (22'3.5", No. 29 in Pennsylvania).
  • Tyler Benson '27 took third in the 800m (2:00.71).
  • The 4x800 relay team of Evan Badami '26, Ethan Na '26, Walter Mulroy '26, and Benson placed third in 8:13.82, a time that ranks No. 50 in Pennsylvania.
  • The 4x100 relay team of Quinn Braca '27, Jason Wilson '28, Josh Cain '26, and Dickerson finished fourth in a season-best and school-record 43.25.
  • Walter Mulroy '26 added a fifth-place finish in the 3200m (10:09.02).
  • Arjun Lee ’27 cleared 10'6" to take fifth in the pole vault.
  • Jason Wilson '28 ran a personal-best 23.05 to place sixth in the 200m.

The Patriots now turn their attention to the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association (PAISAA) Championships on Saturday, May 16 at Malvern Prep. Last year, GA finished fourth at PAISAAs with 62 points.
