Swimming & Diving: Patriots Sweep Peddie School to Stay Undefeated

FORT WASHINGTON -- Germantown Academy's swimmers and divers hosted Peddie School on Jan. 21 for a non-league dual meet. As has been the case for the previous meets this season, the Patriots were dominant, with the girls winning, 105-75, and the boys winning 108-66. GA touched first in every event that they entered. The Patriots return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 24. 

Girls Swim & Dive: W 105-75

  • Emily Hamill '25, Taylor Grimley '24, and Sarah Freeman '25 each won four events
  • Eliza Meth '23 won the 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay, and 100 Breaststroke
  • Camryn Jones '26 and Karly Boles '25 each won two events, with Jones taking the 500 Free and 400 Free Relay, and Boles winning the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay.
  • GA Divers finished 1-2-3 with Libby Brewer '25, Laurel DePolo '25, and Maddie Evers '26 taking the top spots. 

Boys Swim & Dive: W 108-66

  • Landon D'Ariano '24, Brandon Fleck '25, and Andy Zhou '24 all won four events on the day
  • JJ Freeman '23 and Jack Grimley '26 won three events each.
  • Matthew Truong '26 touched first in the 200 Medley Relay
  • GA Divers finished 1-2 with Brendan Hodgens '24 taking first and Gavin Zivitz '25 taking second.
