Softball: GA Overpowers Notre Dame on the Road

VILLANOVA -- First impressions are important, and Germantown Academy's softball team left a big one on Academy of Notre Dame on Tuesday. Taking on the Irish for the first time this season, the Patriots displayed a high-powered offense, winning the game 17-3.

Liv Reynolds '25 pitched five innings and kept Notre Dame off the board. Meanwhile, Malia Walton '23, Alex Johnson '25 and Ang Sannicandro '22 helped get the offense going. Emily Spillane '23 got perhaps the biggest hit of the day however, recording a home run.

The Patriots are 7-6 on the season and 5-4 in league play. The team will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Agnes Irwin School at 4 p.m.
