Softball: Clark’s Two Homers Power GA Past Lawrenceville, 14–4

FORT WASHINGTON -- Zoey Clark '26 hit two home runs and drove in three runs to lead Germantown Academy to a 14–4 win over Lawrenceville School on Wednesday. She went deep in the second and third innings.

Zoe Manning '30 struck out 11 over five innings, allowing three hits and four runs while walking three.

Germantown Academy took control early, scoring four runs in the first inning. Erin Showaker '27 doubled to drive in one run, Manning followed with a two-run home run to left, and Aubrey Daniel '26 added an RBI single.

Clark extended the lead with a solo home run to center in the second inning, then added another two-run shot to center in the third.

The Patriots broke the game open in the fifth, scoring six runs on seven hits. Showaker delivered a ground-rule double that drove in two, Daniel added an RBI single, Paige Sipler '27 doubled home a run, and Taylor Leuzzi '27 singled in two more.

Germantown Academy finished with 18 hits. Keira Pulli '29, Daniel, Showaker, and Jillian Sabatino '29 each had multiple hits.

The Patriots next face Inter-Ac League opponent Academy-Notre Dame de Namur on Friday.
