Ice Hockey: Patriots Earn First Win of the Season with 3-2 Road Victory Over Springside Chestnut Hill

PHILADELPHIA -- The Germantown Academy ice hockey team traveled to Wissahickon Skating Club on Dec. 6 to face Springside Chestnut Hill Academy for the second time in four days. After falling 7-5 to the Blue Devils on Dec. 1, the Patriots bounced back for a 3-2 victory, marking GA’s first win of the season and the first under first-year head coach Frank Seravalli.

GA’s goals came from Ben Creighton '26, Mick Tronoski '28, and JP McGill '26, with Jack Stone '27 and Max Veraska '29 recording assists. Joey Lonergan '27 made 22 saves on 24 shots to secure the win in goal.

The Patriots return to action on Friday, Dec. 12 when they take on Episcopal Academy at 3:15 pm at Ice Line.
