HORSHAM -- After claiming both the Inter-Academic Athletic League and Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association championships during the 2021 season, Germantown Academy's golf team has started their title defense. Already two matches into the season, the Patriots are as hot as ever, sitting with a perfect record. 

In their most recent match against Wissahickon Senior High School, GA came out on top, 200-233. Lucas Albert ’26 was the low scorer for the Patriots with a one under par 35 at Commonwealth National. Ajeet Bagga ’24 was the second low scorer with a 40. In the season opener against Holy Ghost Prep on Aug. 24, GA was led by Will Irons '24 and Daniel Shin '24, who both shot the low scores with a 36. 

The Patriots will be back in action on Sept. 7 at 3 pm, taking on Hill School at Brookside Country Club.
