Girls Soccer: Patriots Get Results at Hill Jamboree

POTTSTOWN -- After scorching the nets in their season opener against Germantown Friends School on Sept. 7, Germantown Academy's girls soccer team has found themselves in a pair of tight contests. Competing in the Hill School Jamboree on Sept. 9 and 10, the Patriots went 1-0-1, defeating Hill, but drawing Lawrenceville.

The Patriots opened the Jamboree by topping Hill, 1-0. Neither team was able to break a scoreless tie until Anna Weber '26 got on the end of a Gianna Grosso '24 cross with two minutes left in regulation. They followed that up with a 1-1 tie against Lawrenceville School on Sept. 10, as Kayla Sweeney '24 found the back of the net off of an assist from Madison Kerest '24 in the waning minutes.

Germantown Academy (2-0-1) travels to Princeton Day School on Sept. 13 for a 4pm kickoff. The Panthers are 1-0 on the season.
