Girls Soccer: Germantown Academy Stays Unbeaten With 4-1 Win Over Germantown Friends

FORT WASHINGTON -- Goals from Piper Loney '27, Kaylin Trent '27, and Tess Partyka '26 helped Germantown Academy earn a 4-1 win under the lights against Germantown Friends on Thursday, Sept. 11.

Loney opened the scoring with just under two minutes to play in the first half. Trent found the back of the net early in the second half when she finished off a cross from Myree Jean-Brian '27.

The Tigers made it a one-goal game with 25 minutes left to play, but the Patriots slammed the door shut when Loney tallied her second goal of the game in the 70th minute. Partyka got on the end of a cross by Maggie Rink '29 and scored in the 74th minute.

The result keeps GA unbeaten in 2025 with a 5-0-1 record. They return to action on Sept. 16 when they open Inter-Ac League play at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.
