Girls Lacrosse: Wanner’s Career Day Leads Patriots Past SCH for First Inter-Ac Win

FORT WASHINGTON -- Germantown Academy's girls lacrosse team earned its first Inter-Ac League win of the season, defeating Springside Chestnut Hill Academy by a score of 16-8 at Oberkircher Field in Sisters' Woods on Monday afternoon. 

Sydney Wanner '25 led the charge offensively with 11 points coming from a career-high eight goals and a team-high three assists. The senior added eight draw controls. Audrey Mennerich '28 recorded a hat trick and added an assist, while Ellerie Catullo '28 recorded two goals and two assists. Lily Hart '28, Caroline Baughman '27, and Maggie Luviano '26 each tallied a goal. 

Sadie Hess '25 tallied eight saves.

The Patriots return to action on Tuesday, April 22 when they host Academy of Notre Dame at 4pm.
