By: Joe Cicchino - Sports Information Assistant

FORT WASHINGTON -- While the Patriots celebrated a win over Episcopal Academy that gave them a perfect record in the Inter-Ac League, they also celebrated some former players that earned quite an honor. Following the 52-30 win over the Churchwomen, GA recognized the members of their 2009-2018 All-Decade Team. (SEE PHOTOS)

"Having former players and their parents at the game yesterday elicited so many wonderful memories," said Head Coach Sherri Retif. "After the game, it was exciting to spend time with each of them and catch up on the last few years. I particularly enjoyed Cat and Alexa interacting with Maggie and Jesse, bridging the generations and sharing fun stories."

The All-Decade Team of 2009-2018:

Margaret Anne Hubbell '14: In only two years at GA, ‘Hubs’ made a name for herself as a fierce competitor and an exemplary teammate. With 1,058 points, Margaret Anne stands as the 13th leading scorer among females. As a senior, she was named the Inter-Ac League Player of the Year as well as an All-State selection.  She continued her basketball career in college, currently as a cadet at West Point.

Currently Olivia is playing at Wesleyan University.

Alexa Gallagher '11: One of two five-time Inter-Ac Champions, Alexa was the last GA player to play varsity basketball as an eighth grader. An Inter-Ac Player of the Year and All-State selection, Alexa was signed to a Top 25 program, DePaul University.  The GA girls’ basketball programs’ highest annual award was endowed in her name in 2013, recognizing players with exemplary leadership.
