Football: Vance, Patriots Run Through Father Judge

PHILADELPHIA -- For the third time in as many games, Germantown Academy running back Trae Vance '20 went over the century mark in rushing yards. The junior has been a stud for the Patriots this season and that continued on Sept. 14 when the Patriots travelled to Father Judge High School. 

During the most recent game, Vance registered a season-high 175 yards on 17 carries to go along with two touchdowns. His 11-yard score late in the game secured a 31-21 win for the Patriots.

GA was in a hole early, falling behind 7-0 to start the game. However, quarterback Jordan Longino '21 answered when he found Jerry Griffin-Batchler '21 on a 32-yard touchdown pass. Longino finished the game with with 91 passing yards and 30 rushing yards. 

The Patriots outscored Father Judge 10-7 in the second half to secure their third win of the year. On Sept. 22, GA will host Kipps-Dubois Collegiate Academy at 1:30 p.m.
