FORT WASHINGTON -- The National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA) recently published its All-America lists for the 2023-24 season. Germantown Academy was well represented on the lists, with 11 swimmers and four divers claiming All-American honors in a total of 18 events. In addition, Brendan Hodgens '24, who received recognition as a diver, also earned Academic All-American honors. To earn a spot on these lists, a swimmers must be among the top 100 times in the country for an event. 

The girls 400 Freestyle Relay of Emily Hamill '25, Sarah Freeman '25, Amelia Gipson '27, and Karly Boles '25 went eighth fastest in the country (3:23.75), as did the girls 200 Freestyle Relay of Hamill, Freeman, Arden Keitel '27, and Boles, going (1:33.38). Hamill earned All-American honors in six events. Brandon Fleck '25 swam the 12th fastest 100 Free (43.80), while Landon D'Ariano '24 went 1:46.29 to finish 16th in the 200 Individual Medley.
