SHILLINGTON, PA--After qualifying for Flight II of the 2017 Beast of the East tournament for the second consecutive year the Patriots found themselves matched up against another western Pennsylvania powerhouse in Pittsburgh’s North Allegheny on Saturday. Another slow start found the Patriots trailing at the end of the first. 

"We outscored North Allegheny in the middle two quarters to deadlock the score at 8-8 going into the final frame," explained GA Head Coach Mike Koziol. 

The game went back and forth until a Henry Grady '18 man-up goal put the Patriots up 11-10 with 1:38 remaining. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be as careless turnovers doomed GA and North Allegheny scored back-to-back goals to end the game with a 12-11 advantage, sending the Patriots to a consolation game. North Allegheny would go on to win the Flight II championship later that night.
