Boys Track & Field: Seven Top-Three Finishes Propel GA Boys Track to Fifth at Inter-Ac Championships

NEWTOWN SQUARE – Germantown Academy’s boys track and field team captured seven top-three finishes at the Inter-Academic League Track and Field Championships, earning a fifth-place team finish with 66.5 points.

Episcopal Academy won the team title with 124.5 points, followed by Malvern Prep (110), Haverford School (107), and Penn Charter (70). Springside Chestnut Hill finished sixth with 46 points.

Highlights

  • Adrian Diem ’25 won the pole vault with a jump of 15 feet. Robby Bright ’25 placed second in the event by clearing 14 feet, 6 inches.

  • Evan Badami ’26 placed second in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 1:52.02, which ranks No. 58 nationally.

  • Jet Dickerson ’26 took second in the 300-meter hurdles (39.47), third in the 100 meters with a personal-best 10.98, and fourth in the 200 meters (21.91).

  • Tommy Pasquarella ’28 placed third in the javelin with a throw of 131 feet, 4 inches.

  • The 4x400-meter relay team of Tyler Benson ’27, Badami, Jason Wilson ’28, and Ellis Johnson ’25 finished second in 3:29.90.

  • The 4x100-meter relay team of Wilson, Dickerson, Badami, and Josh Cain ’26 placed fourth in 43.66.

  • The 4x800-meter relay team of Ethan Nah ’26, Callan O’Keefe ’28, Jamie Roche ’28, and Andreas Szautner ’26 placed fourth in 9:17.95.

  • Stas Kraynak ’26 finished fifth in the high jump with a mark of 5 feet, 10 inches.

  • Benson placed sixth in the 1,600 meters with a time of 4:27.44 and took seventh in the 800 meters in 2:03.32.
