PHILADELPHIA -- The Germantown Academy boys tennis team defeated William Penn Charter 4-3 at Reiger Tennis Courts on Thursday, April 17. The win marked the third Inter-Ac League victory of the season. Aiden Swartz '25 sealed the result with an 11-9 third set tiebreak on court one.

In other singles action, Vincent Zhou '26 dispatched his competition, 6-1, 6-0. 

On the doubles side, Justin Huang '27/Ben Getson '25 and Jake Barenbaum '28/Connor Bradley '26 each picked up wins. Huang and Getson took their matches 6-0, 6-0, while Barenbaum and Bradley won 6-3, 6-2. 

The Patriots return to the court on April 22 when they travel to Springside Chestnut Hill Academy for an Inter-Ac matchup. GA beat the Blue Devils 4-3 on April 1 for their first league win of the year.
