PHILADELPHIA -- After dealing with a few weather cancellations, Germantown Academy's boys tennis team got its season underway on March 21. The reigning Inter-Ac League Champions took to the road to take on league opponent Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and began their title defense in spectacular fashion, winning the contest, 5-2.
Armon Meinstein '24, Aiden Swartz '25, and Alex Katzer '25 each won their singles matches in two sets, while the pairs of Max Baer '24 and Vincent Zhou '26, and Ben Getson '25 and Yash Kandanuru '25 picked up wins for doubles.
The Patriots are scheduled to next play on April 5 at Princeton Day School at 4pm.
