FORT WASHINGTON — Germantown Academy’s boys swimming and diving team made a strong home debut Tuesday against Inter-Ac League rival The Haverford School in Lavino Pool. The Patriots touched first in 10 events, including exhibitions, and topped the Fords, 103–77.

GA opened the meet with a win in the 200 Medley Relay, finishing in 1:37.05, while the B team placed third in 1:42.79.

The Patriots swept the 50 Freestyle, led by Daniel Dashko ’28 in first (22.31), followed by Oliver Ritchey ’27 in second (22.33) and Luke Samuel ’28 in third (22.41). GA also swept the 100 Freestyle, with Samuel taking first in 48.26, Shane Cowley ’28 finishing second in 49.03, and Andy Yu ’27 placing third in 49.82.

In 1-meter diving, Nash Salomon ’28 earned first with 268.57 points, while Charlie McGeehan ’28 finished second with 193.05.

In the 100 Butterfly, Heston Steckel ’26 touched first in 52.99. Henry Zyman ’29 (55.85) placed third, and Max Meng ’29 (56.27) finished fourth. Marcus Rasmussen ’27 went on to win the 500 Freestyle in 4:45.55, with Steckel taking second in 4:49.17.

Germantown Academy returns to the pool next Tuesday when the Patriots travel to Episcopal Academy.
