By: Joe Cicchino - Sports Information Assistant

NEWTOWN SQUARE -- Germantown Academy's boys lacrosse team took on Episcopal Academy on May 14 in the first round of the Inter-Ac League Tournament. The two teams met earlier this season with the Churchmen coming out on top, 7-5. Unfortunately for the Patriots, the most recent outing had a similar outcome, with EA winning 10-8.

The game was tightly contested throughout with the score being tied after each of the first three quarters. With four minutes to play, EA took a 9-8 lead and were able to tack on another goal to seal a win.

GA had six players score against the Churchmen, led by Gunnar Bogorowski '19 and his three scores. Tim Ruth '19, Noah Spratt '20, Wills Jordan '19, Jack McHugh '19 and Liam Rosato '19 each tallied one goal. Brendan Donnelly '22 had eight saves in the contest.
