PHILADELPHIA -- Germantown Academy's cross country teams were in action on Monday at Belmont Plateau for the Inter-Ac League Championships.

Boys Varsity

The boys had to deal with an injury that occurred during the race and finished fifth overall.

Walter Mulroy '26 took 16th overall with a time of 18:52.40. Ethan Na '26, (19:49.80), Andrei Vava '24 (19:57.50), and Chaz Murgia '23 (20:02.10) finished 27th, 28th, and 29th overall, respectively. Evan Badami '26 (20:45.50) rounded out the scoring five for GA. 

The team will prepare for PAISAA Championships which take place on Oct. 29 at Belmont Plateau. 

Boys JV

Ollie Pepper '26 finished first for the Patriots (32nd overall), running 22:13.60. Jack Breme '26 and Sam Wang '23 ran 23:59.30 and 23:59.40, respectively. Christian Jackson '26 (24:14.70) and Jake Spain '23 (24:58.50) rounded out the scoring five for Germantown Academy. Arjun Sood '25 (25:31.70) also saw action in the event as well.
