Germantown Academy graduate Arthur Sweeney '69 was inducted into the GA Athletic Hall of Fame on November 8, 2018.

• Four-year varsity letterwinner in soccer
   
• Named to the Inter-Ac League second team three-straight years
   
• Earned First Team All-Inter-Ac League honors as a senior
   
• Named First Team All-Scholastic as a senior
   
• Led the Lighthouse 49s (U18 division) to the national championship as a junior
   
• Member of the 1967 team that is a member of the GA Athletic Hall of Fame
   
• Helped team finish 17-3-2
   
• One of several leaders to help Patriots win the Inter-Ac League
   
• Championship for the first time in 37 years
   
• Continues to coach youth intramural and travel soccer teams
