Sarah Martinez '93
  • Sarah, a "lifer" at Germantown Academy, played three years of varsity field hockey and three years of varsity lacrosse. During her three years of varsity field hockey and lacrosse, Sarah was named to the Inter-Ac All Star Teams.
  • Sarah was the Germantown Academy Most Valuable Player for Defense for Hockey while she was in 10th, 11th and 12th grade.
  • In 10th and 12th grades, Sarah was the Most Valuable Player for Defense for Lacrosse.
  • In Sarah's senior year at GA, she was on the Private I National Team. Sarah was on the Montgomery County All Record Field Hockey First Team.
  • Sarah attended Yale University and while there she was named to their All League Field Hockey Team for three years. While at Yale, Sarah was on the Field Hockey Regional All-American First Team for 1996-97 and on the Regional All-American Second Team for 1995-96.
  • Sarah was named to the All-Ivy League First Team in 1996-97 and the All-Ivy League Second Team in 1994-95 and 1995-96. In 1996-97, Sarah was on the NCAA Division One Senior All Star First Team. Sarah was Academic All-American for the years 1994 through 1997 and was Academic All-Ivy for 1996-97. At Yale, Sarah was the Field Hockey Most Valuable Player for 1996-97 and the Highest Point Scorer in 1994-95.
