Gretchen Platt '89
- Gretchen was a three sport athlete while at Germantown Academy participating in Varsity Field Hockey for three years, Varsity Volleyball for three years and Varsity Lacrosse for three years.
- In 1988-1989 Gretchen was the Captain of the Volleyball Team, Field Hockey Team, and the Lacrosse Team.
- Gretchen’s teams won the League Championships for Field Hockey, Volleyball and Lacrosse in her senior year.
- Gretchen received the Osbourn Memorial Medal in 1987 and The E.I.H. Howell Award in 1988.
- In 1989 she received the Beard Memorial Award and was named All-American for U.S. Women’s Lacrosse.
- Gretchen attended the United States Military Academy at West Point.
- While at West Point Gretchen played Varsity Lacrosse for four years and was Captain of the team in 1994.
- Gretchen also was on the Equestrian Team and the Alpine Ski Team.
- Gretchen was named College All-American for Lacrosse in 1993.
- Gretchen coached Lacrosse in the Spring of 2003 at Germantown Academy.
