Dave Martin 1760

• Graduate of University of Massachusetts
• Four-time varsity letterwinner in lacrosse
• Played in the NCAA Division I Lacrosse Tournament three out of his four years
• Selected All Northeast
• Chosen for the North/South Senior All Star Game in 1980
• Celebrating his 38th year at Germantown Academy in 2021-22
• Currently serves as the Upper School Physical Education/Health Department Chair
• Served the GA boys lacrosse program as Varsity Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Middle School Coach
• Under former Head Coach Ted Haynie 1760, helped the Patriots to Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association titles in 1990 and 1993 and runner-up finishes in 1987 and 2001
• Led the Patriots lacrosse team to an 89-71 overall record as head coach
• Took the Patriots to the Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association playoffs four straight-seasons 
• Coached 10 lacrosse All-Americans
• Currently serves as the head coach of GA coed golf team
• Led the Patriots to the 2021 Inter-Ac League Golf Championship
• Coached the GA golf team to the 2021 Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association Championship title
• Served as coach of girls volleyball, football, basketball, Middle School and freshman soccer, and Middle School girls tennis during his tenure at GA
• As a volleyball coach, led the Patriots to eight championships
• Served as President of the Pennsylvania Lacrosse Coaches Association
• Named US Lacrosse Assistant Coach of the Year  
• Named US Lacrosse Man of the Year
• Spent more than 20 years officiating collegiate lacrosse games, including a number of NCAA playoff games, most notably the NCAA Division II National Championship game at Rutgers in 2001
